DIRECTOR OF THE MATENADARAN, HRACHYA TAMRAZYAN, WAS ELECTED AS A CORRESPONDENT MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES


  On December 27, 2014, in the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, were held choices of academicians and correspondent members, in which participated 45 academicians and 53 correspondent members of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. The choices take place by 2 stages according to the statute of the National Academy of Sciences: at first in the departments, and then in the General meeting in which participate all academicians and correspondent members. In the result of these choices from more than 60 candidates on different specialties were nominated only 9 academicians and 13 correspondent members.
On the sphere of study of literature a correspondent member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia was elected the Director of the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, Doctor of Philological Sciences Hrachya Tamrazyan.
