MATENADARAN HAS BEEN ENRICHED WITH VALUABLE MANUSCRIPTS OF THE 17th–18th CENTURIES

Today, the Honorary Doctor of the NAS, RA, senior priest of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Reverend Dr. Vrej Nersessian, who lives in London, donated seven valuable Ethiopian, Arabic, and Ottoman manuscripts to Mashtots Matenadaran. In 2017, Vrej (senior priest Ter Nerses) Nersessian received the degree of Doctor of Theology from the Heythrop College, UniversityofLondon. For many years, he was the Curator of the Christian Middle East Section at the BritishLibrary.
